Lori J. Cross

The first thing you notice about Lori Cross is her energy.  Her enthusiasm about leadership, strategy, innovation and neuroscience might not be what you would expect from someone who has been leading high-tech manufacturing firms across the globe for over 27 years, but Lori Cross is driven by her conviction that Neuroleadership can help business leaders work smarter and faster to deliver exceptional business results.  

Lori Cross is the Founder and President of Mindspan Consulting, committed to the development of exceptional, authentic leaders in dynamic, challenging environments.  She coaches and develops organizational leaders of all experience levels on strategy formulation, execution, innovation and neuroleadership. Combining decades of management experience with cutting-edge discoveries in neuroscience, she helps leaders to learn and immediately apply practical, innovative techniques for business improvements through keynote speeches, seminars, consulting engagements or one-on-one coaching.

Lori has a Bachelors and a Masters in Systems Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration, which she applied to R&D, Engineering, Operational, Sales, Marketing and Senior Leadership roles at firms such as American Hospital Supply, Baxter Healthcare, Smith & Nephew, Instrumentarium, GE Medical Systems and VIASYS. Lori’s career has taken her around the world, based in California, Massachusetts, Germany, Sweden, and Wisconsin. 

Now an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and Center for Advanced Studies in Business, Lori works with top-level executives, MBA candidates and high potential leaders to master the art and science of business acumen, strategic growth, entrepreneurship, innovation and neuroleadership.

Lori is also an active Board Member, serving on boards involved in the insurance, education, electronics and healthcare industries in both public and privately-held firms.  She is in high-demand as a Strategy Consultant, working with CEOs as a personal Executive Coach or with Executive Teams for overall leadership development.
