1. Teams At the Top
Teams at the top are critically different from project or functional teams. The best senior leadership teams work together with seamless efficiency and camaraderie where members aren’t afraid to challenge each other and to learn from their collective expertise. Successful executive teams have a shared identity, interdependency and effective techniques fordelivering both operational and strategic results. How can this powerful culture be created if there is a history of strong competition and silos of performance? In this program, senior teams explore various team models, select their team goals and begin to invest in new behaviors and activities that will create a world-class Team at the Top.
2. Create and Innovate
Value innovation is the result of applied creativity. Like most other mental capabilities, these skills can be greatly enhanced, especially if leaders apply powerful new findings describing how our brain gainsnew insights that deliver innovative results. What conditions and training is required to enhance innovation? How can we create team-based innovation and creativity? Participants in this program explore innovation frameworks for different contexts. We learn the secrets of creating both individual and group creativity – the conditions, the triggers and the follow-up that brings innovation to life and empowers employees to seek new growth and productivity solutions over and over again.
3. Communication and Conflict
Feedback is a gift that has its greatest value when we return it. Providing feedback that motivates and lifts others to a higher level of performance is a rare occurrence in most workplaces. Leaders must become expert at both giving and receiving feedback, but few have been trained in the neuroscience behind communication, conflict and motivation. Increasingly, leaders must master these skills in working with their subordinates, superior and peers. In this program, we explore the various brain processes which occur in ourselves and others, when we communicate, especially with stressful projects, time pressures and competitive mindsets. We also learn many new techniques for influencing others, building trust and communicating with more efficiency and effectiveness.
